Agreement to these terms
These terms cover your use of the BrainBytes Academy website and parent portal. By creating an account or booking a class, you agree to them. They don't replace the separate enrollment agreement, liability waiver, or medical release you sign when enrolling a student — those govern in-person program participation and control if anything here conflicts with them.
Accounts
Accounts are for parents and guardians booking on behalf of their family — students don't create their own accounts. You're responsible for keeping your login secure and for the accuracy of the information you provide about yourself and your student.
Booking, payment, and cancellation
Payments are processed through Stripe. Pricing, billing frequency, and cancellation/refund terms for a specific program are shown to you at checkout and in your enrollment agreement — those specific terms apply, rather than a single blanket policy here.
In-person programs
Our classes, camps, and parties involve hands-on activities (including tools, electronics, and 3D printing equipment) that carry some inherent risk. Enrolling a student requires signing a separate liability waiver and medical release, which set out those risks and your acknowledgment of them in detail.
Acceptable use
Don't use the site to submit false information, interfere with its operation, or attempt to access another family's account or data.
Our content
The BrainBytes Academy name, logo, and curriculum materials belong to us. You're welcome to share what your student made in class — the underlying course materials aren't licensed for reuse or resale.
Disclaimers
The website and portal are provided "as is." We don't guarantee uninterrupted access, and we don't guarantee specific learning outcomes — kids progress at different paces.
Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, BrainBytes Academy's liability for any claim relating to the website or portal itself is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months. This section doesn't limit or replace whatever your signed liability waiver says about in-person program participation.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey.
